Our history

Frilli was founded in 1912 in Poggibonsi and by 1914 had already produced its first industrial copper still, an innovation that set a new standard for the time. After the Second World War, drawing on its experience in the production of grappa and spirits, the company shifted its focus towards the design and marketing of plant equipment.

At the end of the 1960s, it began the process of internationalisation, building its first plants in France and Spain. In the 1970s, partly as a result of the energy crisis, Frilli developed technologies and patents that enabled it to expand into new markets and supply plants on several continents.

In 2021, Frilli joined Omnia Technologies, integrating its experience with automation solutions and sustainable technologies, confirming its role as a world leader in distillation.
