In the heart of Piedmont’s sparkling valley, in Santo Stefano Belbo, one of the most dynamic and recognisable names in Italian viticulture was founded in 1958: Santero 958. A brand that has successfully combined winemaking tradition with a modern, creative and strongly innovation-oriented approach.

Santero 958’s mission is to create sparkling wines that bring joy, conviviality and innovation to tables around the world, while maintaining a deep connection with the territory and sustainability, with the aim of establishing itself as an international benchmark in the sparkling wine sector without ever losing its Italian authenticity.

The partnership between Santero 958 and Sirio Aliberti, part of Omnia Technologies, dates back to the early 2000s, when the rapidly expanding Piedmontese winery felt the need to innovate its production facilities in order to respond to new market challenges. Since then, the collaboration has been consolidated over time through shared projects and constant technical exchange, which have enabled Santero to implement cutting-edge solutions for fermentation and storage, thus strengthening the quality and competitiveness of its products.

In particular, Sirio Aliberti has supplied state-of-the-art autoclaves, tanks and wine fermenters, designed to ensure maximum reliability and safety during all stages of the wine fermentation and storage processes. These structures, made with the highest quality materials, are essential for maintaining constant temperature and pressure parameters, thus ensuring strict control over each batch produced and preserving the organoleptic characteristics that make Santero 958 wines unique.

A recent significant investment saw the installation of 18 new autoclaves, with a total capacity exceeding 28,000 quintals, which led to a considerable expansion of the production structure, allowing the company to meet growing demand on both the national and international markets.

Thanks to this new equipment, Santero 958 can now manage large-scale production more efficiently, maintaining steady and controlled growth without ever compromising the quality of the final product. Each stage of fermentation is carefully monitored by specialised personnel, who exploit the potential offered by technology to obtain fresh, fragrant bubbles that are faithful to the house style.

Completing the production chain is a Bertolaso bottling machine, part of the Group and a leader in the design and manufacture of bottling technology for the wine industry. Synonymous with precision and reliability, this fully automated system allows large volumes to be handled quickly, ensuring that each bottle is sealed and packaged to the highest standards, with a significant reduction in inefficiencies and mistakes.

Thanks to continuous improvement of its facilities and collaboration with the Group, the company is able to maintain the quality that has made each bottle famous, bringing wines and sparkling wines to tables all over the world.
