Acquisition of Officine Meccaniche F.lli Ronchi’s brand

Omnia Technologies further expands its Life Sciences division with the acquisition of Officine Meccaniche F.lli Ronchi’s brand

The acquisition of the brand and of the technical drawings of Officine Meccaniche F.lli Ronchi will allow the integration of skills on the processing side, enabling Omnia Technologies to produce powder compression machines for solid tablets.

Omnia Technologies, a leading platform for automation and bottling technologies for the beverage and pharmaceutical industries, has completed the acquisition of the brand and of the technical designs of Officine Meccaniche F.lli Ronchi. This is Omnia Technologies’ fourth acquisition in the Life Sciences space.

Founded in 1947 in Cinisello Balsamo (Milan, Italy), Officine Ronchi has become a market leader in the production of tablet presses and tools for the pharmaceutical industry. The company, now in its fourth generation, is managed directly by the Ronchi family and has sold to Omnia Technologies the brand and the technical drawings for the production of tablet presses.

This strategic acquisition is a further expansion of the Omnia Technologies’ Life Sciences division and will allow the integration of processing skills, enabling the group to offer powder compression machines for the production of solid tablets.

“The acquisition of the brand and of the technical designs of Officine Ronchi significantly boosts Omnia Technologies’ portfolio of technological and automated solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, strengthening our service offering to customers globally”, stated Andrea Stolfa, CEO of Omnia Technologies.
