Our history
Gimar was founded in 1966 and over the years has established itself as an international benchmark in the production of wine-making and storage systems.
The business began with the manufacture of fibreglass tanks and, in 1967, the company revolutionised the sector by inventing and patenting Semprepieni tanks with floating lids, which quickly spread internationally and are still used in wineries around the world today.
Thanks to constant technological evolution, Gimar has consolidated its leadership in the production of patented stainless steel tanks and systems, designed to meet the needs of wineries of all sizes in a constantly growing market.
Since 2023, it has been part of the Omnia Technologies group, expanding its international presence and developing advanced solutions for the wine sector.
